Aveeno deal at CVS!

I am really looking forward to this next week at CVS because the past few weeks have been super lame. There are a few freebies in addition to the Aveeno deal (spend $20, get $10 ECB) - which is what I am super excited about! $2 printables for Aveeno are available at Aveeno.com in addition to the shampoo coupons and such in the paper. Also - remember to scan your CVS card at the coupon center if you have one because I have gotten several Aveeno and facial care coupons over the past few weeks.

Here is my plan:
Aveeno shampoo - $6.50
Aveeno night cream moisturizer - $15
Total: $21.50
-$2 Aveeno shampoo
- $2 Aveeno actival naturals
- $2 CVS Aveeno coupon
-$3 off $15 CVS facial care coupon (both are from scanner)
Pay $12.50 in ECB and get $10 ECB back

Not a money maker, but not bad for good stuff that I actually use. If you don't have the CVS coupons, you could purchase two shampoos and one cleanser and use 3 $2 coupons to get your total down fairly low.

Tip for finding high value coupons....

Even if you don't drink, check the wine area when you are at the store. I find hangtags on wine bottles quite frequently with some pretty high value coupons and, by law, no alcohol purchase is required to use them. Just for example, I found a hangtag titled "Build Your Perfect Burger" last week here in Greenville at Walmart and inside were $1 when you purchase ground beef and $1 when you purchase two avocados coupons. Both of which were already in my buggy and to sweeten the deal even more, the avocadoes were 2/$1 that day!

New link for the awesome Kraft coupons!!!!

OK - I was absolutely loving all of those Kraft coupons that were available on coupons.com last month. I have a huge stockpile of Kraft barbecue sauce, Oscar Mayer hot dogs, Kraft cheese blocks and singles, KoolAid, Country Time, Wheat Thins, Ritz crackers and the list goes on. I didn't pay anymore than 50 cents for any of those items after price matching or combining the manu coupons with Target coupons. I was sad to see most of the coupons disappear when the month ended.

AWESOME NEWS!!! The coupons are still available on cookingwithkraft.com and it let me reprint all of them. If you don't see much you need, at least print the Kraft barbecue sauce one because that'll earn you a few cents in overage at Walmart. The $1 Honey Maid one is also great to use with the $1 insert coupon when you buy HM graham crackers, marshmellows and Hershey's chocolate. The $1 off Ritz works great with the Buy Ritz crackers and get Wheat Thins free insert coupon. The Ritz were $2.50 at my WalMart so $1.50 for two boxes of crackers!

Pottery Barn Kids lunch bags for $5.39 shipped!

Pottery Barn Kids has their Peyton lunch bags on "hidden" clearance for $5.99 with free shipping. Go through this link for an additional 10 percent off anything and then search for product number 68-5864715 in the search box. Monogramming is an additional $6.50 if you choose to do that.

When ordering something from PBK, always remember to try and add the current clearance prefix numbers (right now it is 68-) to the product number and search for it. Obtain the product number by first adding something to your cart. If the product is scheduled to drop in price within the next few weeks, it will sometimes bring the item up at a discounted price. This is great for Christmas gifts as many of the toys will start dropping in price around mid December!

CVS trash bag clearance

I haven't been blogging about CVS lately because it just seems like the deals have been a little sparse. However, I went ahead to my store this morning to do the Hawaiian Tropic and toilet paper deals. At my coupon center, I got a $1 off any Glade Air Freshener coupon and used that to get the Glade spray for free and also got a $5 off any Lumene and used this on the small $2.99 container for $2.01 in overage. I also found some large packs of Hefty trash bags on clearance for $1.50. Use the $1 insert coupon on these to make them 50 cents a peice! My store had 3 different varieties on clearance for this price.

Get 20% off at Great Wolf Lodge this summer!

Jeremy and I were thinking about taking the kids here sometime this summer for a night. It is pretty expensive so I was happy to find these codes. Generally, discounts for the GWL are fairly hard to find. Use promo code FUN, GREEN, or WOLF when booking rooms. Also look at the calendar and chose the days shaded in white to get the best pricing. I got a family suite down to $183 for a single night (4 water park passes included). Book by 7/1. Offer valid for travel through Sept 3. These are the same codes people are selling on ebay for $10!
